Terms of Service

Not legal advice

ContractIQ is an informational tool. It is not a law firm, it does not provide legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. Analyses are generated by an AI system and may be incomplete or wrong. Always have an important agreement reviewed by an attorney licensed in your jurisdiction before you sign it or rely on it. You are solely responsible for decisions you make about your contracts.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use ContractIQ. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your content

You keep ownership of the documents you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store and process them solely to provide the service to you, including transmitting the text to our AI provider for analysis. You represent that you have the right to upload each document and that doing so does not breach a confidentiality obligation you owe to someone else.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload material you have no right to share, or that contains another person’s information without their permission;
• attempt to access other users’ data, probe or bypass our security controls, or disrupt the service;
• resell, scrape, or systematically extract the service or its output without our written permission;
• use the service to provide legal advice to third parties as if it were your own professional judgment.

Plans, billing, and refunds

• Single report. A one-time charge that unlocks the full analysis for one specific contract.
• Monthly subscription. Recurring monthly charge including a set number of full analyses per billing period, as described at checkout.
• Team plan. Recurring monthly charge covering a fixed number of seats in an organization.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Purchases made through the Apple App Store are billed by Apple and are governed by Apple’s terms and refund process. Purchases made on our website are billed by Stripe — contact us at support@contractiq360.com for refund requests.

Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Documents are automatically deleted 30 days after upload, so keep your own copies of anything you need.

Termination

You may stop using ContractIQ and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy of AI-generated output. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost income or lost opportunity arising from a contract you signed or declined.
